Subscription boxes…I think you either love them or hate them, or maybe you haven’t really heard of them. They are quite the craze these days. At one point I had three subscription boxes coming to my door once a month! You name the product/topic, there’s probably a subscription box to fit that need. My husband, who is an avid outdoorsman, loves his Sportsman’s Box that comes every month chalked full of hunting and fishing gear, snacks and gadgets. For my lady friends, many of you LOVE the Ipsy subscription box that comes full of customized makeup and beauty products.
Subscription boxes set out to achieve the following for its customers:
- Provide the customer with retail products on a recurring monthly basis, customized to a specific customer need/interest.
- Provide discounts on products by buying through the subscription box service.
- Discovery and excitement for the customer when the new box arrives (it’s like Christmas once a month!)
- Convenience for the customer, products shipped right to your door.
In thinking about my own usage of subscription boxes, on top of my overall lifestyle of nutrition through nut-free Paleo, travel, and outdoor adventures, I thought how great would it be if I could get a box shipped to me once a month with new snacks, gear, and apparel to try out that fits my lifestyle?!?
Enter the Wanderlust and Wellness subscription box idea. We would love to put together a subscription box for our customers and Wanderlust and Wellness tribe members!
