I’ve kind of been on a Matcha smoothie kick lately. This Coconut Pineapple Matcha Smoothie still packs the nutritional value add from the Matcha tea while tasting very similar to a Pina Colada! This smoothie is even lighter than the banana Matcha smoothie I shared a few weeks ago. Matcha smoothies have endless combinations, seriously. Just mix together coconut milk, ice, fruit of your choice and Matcha green tea.
Pineapple is probably one of my least favorite fruits, but I do like the flavor. I have weird food texture issues. The fresh pineapple makes this smoothie taste like your favorite poolside drink. In fact, go ahead and enjoy one of these as you lounge in your pool or beach chair, recipe is one me!
- 1 cup full-fat coconut milk
- 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced
- 1 cup ice
- 2 tsp. Matcha green tea
- Extra pineapple for garnish
- Add all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Garnish with extra pineapple and enjoy!
